🌞 Hello from Studio Sunny – New & Revamped !

Hello all, and welcome to Studio Sunny — my passion project, and something I’ve been (not-so-secretly) working on for over a year now. As an asian creative girlie with ADHD, launching something has always felt like a huge deal . I’m sure a lot of you can relate to this feeling but, I always end up working hard on a project only to be to scared to officially launch and keep going because … what hasn’t started has never failed right? In a way I guess this makes me some sort of perfectionist-in-denial?
Enough is enough though and today I’m finally ready to hit publish button. Studio Sunny has grown so much since its initial days, and I’m finally ready to share the works I’ve been working on with all of you

A little bit About Me

Hi, I’m Louie, the floral designer behind Studio Sunny. My path to flowers began in a slightly unexpected way, through photography. I loved creating beautiful sets, styling couples, and telling stories through images and somewhere along the way, I realized that flowers were always at the heart of those moments. Thinking back, it feels like the most natural path for me as I can now recall saying as a child, one of my first dream jobs was to become a florist. I would always get in trouble for stealing flowers from peoples gardens and was constantly arranging little bouquets and flower crowns. And… I still have photos to prove it.

Now, I’m based in Tokyo, where I live with my two rescues: Willow, a Shetland Sheepdog, and Mugi, my weird little mixed-breed . They keep me company in the studio and join me on countless café adventures. We’re true foodies ( but what asian is not ?) and love discovering dog-friendly spots to enjoy together. Beyond flowers, I’m always creating with my hands. You’ll find me often crocheting or at the pottery studio trying my best to throw some vases… Cooking and baking are also a huge part of my life, as feeding is one of my main love languages. Each of these passions feeds into my work as a floral designer.

About the Studio…

Studio Sunny is my floral design atelier, born out of a love for storytelling through flowers. I specialize in bridal florals and photoshoot experiences, but my work also extends to intimate events, styled picnics, and bespoke bouquets. Each project is an opportunity to create something deeply personal. From bridal flowers you carry down the aisle to backdrops to your celebration, or the small details that bring a photoshoot to life. My designs are often colorful and full of movement. I love mixing in lush greenery, bright colored blooms, and unexpected wildflowers that give arrangements their own unique personality. For me it’s all about embracing the nature and making your unique ideas come true.

A last note for me….

Studio Sunny is more than just a floral studio to me, it’s an extension of who I am and the things I love most: creativity, beauty, and the joy of celebrating life. Here at studio sunny I hope to also inspire more of you to pursue creative hobbies and I plan on hosting various workshops and experiences as well through my platform. Follow along our journey and I look forward to taking you’r orders and hopefully meeting you in person at my future events!
